VELUX

Light, reimagined

The Velux skylights project embodies the essence of illuminating spaces with natural light while seamlessly integrating with the home’s architecture. The design captures a sense of openness and tranquility, reflecting the transformative power of daylight in enhancing living environments.

I developed a visual style that combines sleek lines and open spaces, creating a refined yet approachable aesthetic. The design invites homeowners to experience the beauty and warmth that skylights bring to their spaces.

Residential Development

The Grahams’ heritage home renovation project involved the installation of more VELUX skylights than they originally planned for. This created a sense of openness and bright light that needed to be captured in the photography and the design. Light enriching life and spaces became the hero of this design concept.

New Aspro Building

The house and Aspro building are flanked by heritage listed buildings. The house was refurbished in 2016 and is one of Wellington’s last remaining inner city villas. In this design, I worked with the strong architectural lines and vibrant colours of the space to create a brochure that honoured the intricate details and architecture of the heritage building.

Lemonwood Grove School

In creating this brouchure design, I considered the use of light, space and colours for this distinct school. The skylights are front and centre of the design, offering light that enriches the atmosphere and facilitates an educational space for young children.
